• Topic - Japanese encephalitis virus transmission at Australian piggeries

• Designed and implemented novel bloodfed mosquito collection methods, gathering over 2,500 bloodfeds, including the first samples from commercial piggeries in Australia.

• Developed specialist skills spanning medical entomology, industry engagement, NGS sequencing, bioinformatics, and network modelling.

• Topic - Development of wearable devices for Parkinson's disease care.

• Designed, analysed, and published an innovative method for comparing clinician ratings of Parkinson's disease severity. Led a systematic review and meta-ethnography on user experience with wearable devices, resulting in a first-author publication cited over 120 times.
